Privacy Policy

Last updated August 2026

This policy explains how we handle your personal information when you use this website or enquire about a kitchen project. We have written it to be clear and practical rather than legalistic.

Who we are

G2 Kitchens is a trading name of G2 Brothers Construction Ltd (company number 14802223), registered in England and Wales, registered office 237 Coulsdon Road, Caterham, CR3 5NW. G2 Brothers Construction Ltd is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at contact@g2kitchens.co.uk or on 07343 065265.

The information we collect

Information you give us through the consultation / enquiry form: your name, email address, telephone number, postcode, indicative project budget and any details you choose to tell us about your project.

Information you give us in other ways: anything you send us by email, telephone, WhatsApp or social media, and information gathered during a site survey, design appointment or while a project is under way (for example property details, measurements, photographs of the work area and correspondence).

Technical information: basic information your browser sends when you load a page, such as your IP address, which our website hosting and security providers process to deliver and protect the site. Optional analytics is only used if you have consented — see our Cookie Policy.

Why we process your information, and our lawful bases

To respond to your enquiry and prepare a design or quotation. Lawful basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us.

To deliver your project — surveys, ordering, scheduling installation, and aftercare. Lawful basis: performance of our contract with you.

To keep business records, handle complaints and defend legal claims. Lawful basis: legal obligation (for example tax and accounting rules) and our legitimate interests in running the business responsibly.

Optional website analytics and any marketing emails. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

How enquiries are handled

When you submit the consultation form, the details are transmitted securely to our website backend, stored in our enquiry database and emailed to our team inbox at contact@g2kitchens.co.uk. From there, enquiries may be managed through our email system and our CRM / job-management software so that we can track your enquiry, prepare quotations and plan the work. Access is limited to the people who need it to respond to you or deliver your project.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary, with categories of providers and partners such as:

website hosting, database and backend infrastructure providers; email delivery and email hosting providers; CRM and job-management software providers; accountancy, bookkeeping and payment providers; suppliers, manufacturers and installation trades engaged for your project; and our professional advisers, insurers or regulators where we are required or entitled to share information. We may also share information where the law requires it.

Where a provider processes information outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.

How long we keep information

Enquiries that do not lead to a project are normally kept for up to 24 months, so we can follow up and understand demand, and are then deleted. Where you become a customer, we keep project records for the duration of any guarantee period and for at least six years after the end of the contract, in line with accounting and limitation-period requirements. Anything held only on the basis of your consent is deleted when you withdraw it. When setting retention we consider why we hold the information, any legal or insurance requirement, and whether a dispute or claim is possible.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your information; to have inaccurate information corrected; to ask for deletion; to restrict or object to processing (including direct marketing); to data portability in certain cases; and to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it. Exercising these rights is free, and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, helpline 0303 123 1113), though we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
